"I purchased this book as a reference. As it turns out between the book and their web site things are only slightly out of date. The book has excellent references and recommendations from the basic PC to high end gaming. There are plenty of clear photos to make the build, update, or replacement task very smooth.
Their are sections on step by step builds. I am far removed from a techie but this book gives a plethora of valuable information.
