"Perfectdisk is affordable and very easy to install and automate. It will not bog down your computers resources and I really do like the feature of pausing your defrag untill your computer sits at idle for x-minutes which is why I was interested in the program. I had high hopes when I learned that perfectdisk also had a way to reorganize your MFT and defrag your pagefile. But after real world testing on both my laptop and my dekstop I quickly uninstalled perfectdisk completely. As an IT certified by Microsoft I never thought I would say this but in my opinion you are much better off using Window's built in defragmenter. I did not pay much for the software so I am not upset by it, but I am still doing tweaks to try and get my computers' performance and boot time back to where it was originally. There may be some configurations which benefit from perfectdisk in one way or another (hence being a Microsoft certified program), but perfect disk did not work for me as a Microsoft certified professional and even in the performance chart within the program my performance slightly dropped after using the program. The boot time in my computers has taken 2-3 times longer it seems since using perfectdisk to rearange the MFT and I regret it. This has just been my experience though, if it has worked for you I see nothing wrong with using it."
