"Have made this one tons of times in the last 2 years. I leave out the crabmeat and the cream cheese and it is still fabulous! Serve from the pot or put in a bread bowl, either way it disappears! I add 1/2 to 1 tsp more garlic and reserve the marinated artichoke juice. If the dip seems a little dry, add some of the juice. If you can find a jar of chopped artichoke SALAD, use it cause the olives give it another layer on the tongue. If I can't find that, I just add a TBL or so of chopped olives and a touch of the olive juice. Cooking it in the Dip-Size crockpot means it does not overcook, but it certainly gets filled to the top. Cooking it in my full sized pot, it dries out, so compensating with more of the juices is necessary. Add a little salt if being eaten with non-satly dippers."
