"I am type II diabetic and was looking for something without flour and this was a great alternative and they taste great. I adapted it a bit by adding ground sunflower seeds (meal) and some almond meal and then added some protein powder and a small amount of applesauce to beef up the protein content but that is the beauty of this recipe, in that it is very flexible. Give it a try and don't be afraid to add something to it..."
