"I made these with a gluten free brownie mix and substituted corn starch for the flour so that a friend with celiac disease was able to enjoy them with us. I increased the ingredients for the pecan pie "goop" by half (to 150 percent) so that it would have a more pie like consistency, rather than a hard coating and it came out wonderfully. I also didn't add the chocolate chips at the end as I felt it was quite rich enough without, especially at the end of a bountiful Thanksgiving meal. I may add them the next time I make it for my chocoholic husband. I definitely will be making this again!"
