"I did'nt brown the bird first or anything, just slapped it into the crock pot as advertised, frosted with Dijon. Nine hours later, WOW. if your are'nt a Dijon fan, no fear, it cooks so long it goes very mild and un-mustardly. The '100% fruit juice' is a charmingly non-specific ingredient. Lemonade from concentrate is what I had, lemonade from concentrate is what I used. Like the Dijon it morphed into and un-lemon wonderfulness that melded with the turkey 'drippings' and made a lovely rice sauce. This is going to be a standard at my home henceforth."
