Too oily,

"I would definitely remove the 1/4 cup of oil from the recipe and reduce the amount of butter. The potatoes were swimming in oil. The taste was ok. I didn't use the can of chilies, instead I cut up a jalapeno pepper and threw that in. My bf didn't enjoy this much, I didn't either. But try it yourself and omit the oil and reduce the butter and maybe you will like it. Also I would add some salt for sure, maybe a 1/4 teaspoon to start with? Not at the end, but to the sauce."
