"I compare all other stuffings to this one, and I must say, nothing else even comes close. The omission of sage, which I feel overpowers most stuffings, is what lets the other flavors sing! The raisins plump up and get really sweet, as do the apples, but the onions balance that out. I make a double batch of this and keep it in the crockpot for a few hours with chicken broth in it. Otherwise, there would be no leftovers at all! Please try this one and leave the sage in the pantry! :)"
