"I loved this recipe and I don't write reviews unless I either love or hate a recipe, and this one I love. It is going in my "keep" file so I can make it again.

I made it in the crockpot as the directions said, except I didn't bother to cook the onions and such before hand, I just chopped everything in and threw it in the crockpot raw and set it for 7 hours and went to work. I used leftovers I had in the fridge, blackbeans and pinto beans I had cooked and frozen, grated zucchini from the garden, onions from the garden, chopped up tomatos and green pepers from the garden as well, and I threw in some leftover tempeh "bacon" and some TVP I had in the cubard which needed to be used up and it is SOOOO good!!! You wouldn't be able to tell it didn't have meat as the TVP looks and feels just like ground beef. (Good at making you poo too) I had it for dinner last night but today for lunch it is even better."
