"Wow!! Was this ever yummy!!! A friend of mine was having an Oktoberfest party at her house.
I needed something German, simple and fast. Something I hoped would be a crowd pleaser. I found this recipe for German Sausage Chowder. First off, the ingredients were things I already had in mind for German food and second, everything except the bratwurst I already had in my pantry.
I doubled the ingredients and wa la... I had a wonderful creamy, yummy, chowder. It was everyone's favorite thing on the table. Only thing that got finished off. Every woman and man there wanted to know WHO made it and could they get the recipe. I definitely recommend this chowder, even if your not looking for a German recipe. It makes a wonderful cool day dinner."
