engineered flooring, laminate flooring., July 6, 2009

"Unfortunately we did not look online and see the problems with Lumber Liquidators. We bought a laminate floor and their installers told us it was defective and they could not install it. They suggested a "better quality" floor so we returned the flooring and bought Schon engineered flooring. When we picked it up the boxes looked a little curved. We asked the manager who came out and said it was fine and that it was just from another store. When we got home we opened up a box. The floor curved, about 3" off the floor on both ends. We called Lumber Liquidators who said it will acclimate and be fine. It never happened and now they want a 20%restocking fee for a floor no one in the right mind would buy. They also said that this Schon floor is no longer available..does that tell you something! Stay away from Lumber Liquidators...it is not worth it!"
