"I came upon this novel, hidden amongst various books of many different titles and genres. I was immediately drawn to it, as all chance encounters are played out. From the first page, I was hooked! The writing was so flowing and wonderfully descriptive, being a visual person I could "see" the novel as I eagerly turned each page. What a storyline; what a tremendous talent I've been treated to. Five Stars......I hope others will find the wonderful world of Carlos Ruiz Zafon! Definitely give this book a chance to let your imagination fly along with the soaring rich story-telling style and many-layered character development as it transports you through the novels dark, mysterious world! Enjoy the ride!"
