"This is a great addition for someone who sews a whole lot. I do lots of applique using much thread, so it is great to not have to stop and rewind bobbins on the machine. This way I can start the project with enough already wound on the bobbin.
Also, I have found that I am not limited to small spool sewing thread to use it. Am a consistent serger user, so if I put a pencil inside the serger thread spool, to help in holding it (it runs FAST!) it takes two hands, I can wind directly from that large spool onto the bobbin in the Sidewinder.
I love it, I only wish I had it years ago!"
