"I truly believe the so called diary self confessions of ones self genre has been done too many times and to put it totally honest better. If you were to take a look at the often very controversial and insightful look at the life and times of Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain through his eyes as told in his now public personal journey into his thoughts and mind i feel it had more heart and soul and did more for the plight of stopping drug abuse and the world stage to see what the effects of drug abuse on ones mind and soul and life then that of this book.Even more so would be the book written on the account of the addiction and life Red Hot Chilli Peppers frontman Anthony kiedis which truly showed the life and battles of a more than 15 year battle with heroin addiction his account is shocking and relevant on many levels,to my views many parents should read this book as many addictions and problems faced by us humans as adults start when we are kids as does his addiction start to the lack of parenting skills possessed by his father."
