"This book was given 5 stars on amazon. it came today, I perused it in the bath. I didn't expect any major revelations, but it did provide some smiles. some things are obvious, yes if someone keeps telling you they are busy it may be a polite hint... got a text today from someone I quite like and havent heard from in ten days, saying, oh Ive been busy, and I thought, hmmmm.... too busy to say hello in ten days? your not that interested, but it didn't take a book to tell me that! This book isn't a life changer, its a coffee read. plus its one mans opinion, not based on any form of psychological fact. its from the writers of Sex and the City for gods sakes! - its narcissistic of the writer to assume that its the only sound advice, and yet he has a nice view on how to treat each other. - its similar to another book entitled 'treat em mean keep em keen' - which advocates absolute game playing and playing hard to get in a relationship.. no one really wants that.
I think the one point you should remember if you are thinking of taking this book in any serious light is this..
if you are to assume that a man messing you about in any way is a sign that he is just not into you, and this advice is from the writers of Sex and the City, why did they marry strong minded Carrie Bradshaw off in the movie to the man that 'just wasn't that into her' for the last ten years?
I rest my case."
