"I would recommend staying away from this printer. The ink consumption is extreme, and if any of the ink cartridges becomes empty you can't print anything. You can not print using just the black cartridge, as some of the CYM colors are used when you try to print black only. If any of the CMY cartridges become empty, you can't even print black. Not only do I find this ridiculous, but it makes troubleshooting basic problems expensive as far as ink usage. Every time you turn the printer on it uses a bunch of ink, so if you turn this printer on and off about ten times you will be out of black ink, even if you print nothing. Get yourself a good basic HP printer, especially if children are using this printer, or you will spend a FORTUNE on ink...trust me."
