hardtop convertible, December 11, 2008
By kywlcts

"My limitied model is fully loaded with convertible hardtop. I has adequate power with the 3.5L V6.

Only complaints are that the seat are a little firm, there is more road noise from under the car on rough pavement at highway speeds than I would like (but then again I am comparing it to a luxury sedan) and the door arm rest is lower than the console armrest which can be uncomfortable on long trips. However, with decent highway pavement it is surprising quiet in the cabin, which is a testament to the fit of the fully automatic convertible hardtop. It is stable and handles very well---you wouldn't know it is a convertible. The hardtop which stowes in the trunk is a mechanical marvel. I get one to one and a half more miles per gallon of gas on interstates than it is rated. The bluetooth in dash, navigation system, digital system dash read outs and ESC system are superb!

Trunk has more capacity than any other convertible--as much as we need. Can even get a large golf bag or two small suit cases in the trunk with the top down.

I've had Toyotas and Nissans for the last decade and a half, so went American this time with reservations. Pleasantly, after 20k miles, no problems and 100k drive train warranty is comforting. Given the complexity of the convertible top, I would recommend the all/everything lifetime unlimited mileage warranty which I was able to negotiate down to $2200.

It's not cheap, but even costing at least $20k less, it still compares very well with the much more costly BMW, unless you need 400 horsepower of course, and It has more interior and much more trunk space than BMW,VW or Pontiac."
