Porting was fine from Voicewing ...Great product, June 6, 2009

"PORTING: I used both fax and online method for porting and it worked fine when I left VoiceWing.

USE: Call quality is great. Used scout, even though I have wireless phones, because scout enables having second number and instant second line was great for business calls. I foward my office phone number to my second ooma phone number whenever I work from home. Business number has a distinctive ring (customizable via ooma web site), and life is good! I can tell when I have a business call via the distinctive ring, and my wife can still use the main number for her calls during the day. I also have my ooma business number ring on my cell as well when I'm away. Works great. Love having an audio of each voicemail sent to our email too.

Call quality very professional and clear 99% of time. Did have a few where my voice lagged or had static. If I have an issue, I can redial. No issues for last few months. I used it happily since Feb 09. Sure beats paying for two VoiceWing VOIP lines at home ($50 plus per month)...now only $99/year for premium features of second line etc.

Other reviews say you can use it to place free calls to US when overseas if you take box with you. If I had a relative overseas, I'd send one to him or her.
