Useless- Only Parent portion beeps, March 29, 2009

"I bought this because I will be flying at Easter alone across country with my three daughters ages 2, 3, & 6, then later this year we will be visiting Disneyland. I bought it at Canadian Tire for 49.99 for each unit.
I was very disappointed when I opened the first package to find out that this was designed for ONLY THE PARENT UNIT TO BEEP when the child wanders. What good is that? I'm going to know if I can't find my child- I don't need a beeper to tell me. I want a unit where the CHILD unit will beep when my daughter is out of sight so I can actually find her or if she were lured away by some sicko her unit would go off when out of range of mine and make them take off to avoid being aprehended. To me this product is a waste of money. A lot more will be accomplished by me yelling "Help! My Child is Lost!" in a public place than by me wearing a rather wimpy-volumed beeper that does absolutely nothing to help me actually locate the lost child.

I'll be returning this."
