"in my opinion, the marykay mineral makeup really works best if you put either their line of tinted moisterizer first, or any other brand of lightweight moisterizer w/a sunscreen in it. It can and does cover quite well -but you are right, it does make a mess-i think that's why they had to make a brush that works well with it cuz it has a flat top. prior to this, i had used 2 other mineral lines and was not thrilled."
