Don't Be as Foolish as I Was!,

"My policy is to never purchase from phone solicitors, but I foolishly broke my rule when I purchased the Word Smart program to improve my daughter's SAT and ACT scores. The very nice lady on the phone assured me that I could return the product, and when I called within 60 days to do so, I was told that there was a 30 day return policy. This had NEVER been explained to me. Further more, they were going to send me another CD and charge my credit card again. I returned the product in the unopened box, and yet the company will not return my money. I have been forced to work with Discover, to recoup the money. The very nice lady turned into a very rude customer service person, and I was told to send all complaints to the Board of Directors in written form. There is much better and cheaper software available, and Word Smart is a terrible company with which to deal. Please don't be as foolish as I was."
