Not What I Though it Would Be, September 16, 2009

"First of all I found the book at a 99 Cent Store so it's not like I invested $23.95. I was intrigued by the title and I agree with the review specifically that I expected there to be more information about the success of his blog, the making of an activist, the techniques he used to get his blog to where it is now, and the overall methodology and theory of how, what, when, where and why he felt compelled to "Take on the System." I appreciate the fact that he has built a blog that gets a lot of attention. I'm just not sure how pure his motives are in some of his reporting. Is this a blog driven by profit or is this a blog driven by passion and dedication of a true activist that wants to effect change? I really can't see what change he has made except to puff up his ego and throw lavish conferences for President Obama to attend."
