Bell Deluxe Patch it Bicycle, April 21, 2009

"I have to agree with the first guy. This Bell DELUXE Patch It Kit is not worth it. I first amazed at the glueless aspect. now. All I was suppose to do was scruff the tire with the metal tab, apply the patch and be done. The tools are kinda handy but are rather weak. Tthey worked with a lil bit of elbow. The patches didnt tho. I let them set for awhile and then proceeded to pump the tubes up. I saw the patches starting to seperate and tried to re-apply then which didnt work at all. When i thought I had successfully gotten one to stick I found out later that it hadnt and was stuck with another flat tire and more time to spend trying to fix the problem once again. I use a friend of mine patch kit on another tube last year and it waws based on the same principle but it worked. It wasnt a clear patch like the bell and had a lil more substance to it. I wish I had bought that instead of the BELL. I would surely recommend it!!! BELL Try again please. There are some riders out there mad that they had to ride home or repair their tire over again."
