MOKA Espresso Pot,

"I got the 6 demi-tazze/cup size pot for Thanksgiving.
3 step instructions were on the box in 6 languages.
Filled the boiler up to the steam valve, fine ground coffee filled funnel-filter 7/8 & set in boiler, screwed on top & put on burner. 2-3 min later brown fluid came out where top &
bottom were screwed together fairly tight, but no espresso in the top reservoir & spout. Poured 1-2 tazze by inverting the spout into cup. Later & cooler, unscrewed pot & boiler & found 3-4 cups in the boiler. Tried it several more times with same result; then found on google "how to make Moka espresso & photo with top spout filled with steamed espresso. Is it missing the "silicone gasket"?"
