Very expensive, Mediocre Food, Negative Atmosphere,

"Regardless of price, food should always taste good. So, to go to a place like Fuel and spend a small fortune on a birthday dinner for 8 and have almost every dish be -- well, gross -- that's just unacceptable. We came from all different backgrounds, had different tastes, yet we all came together to declare the food bland, mediocre, and occasionally inedible. Some people read good reviews or listen to word of mouth and get insanely excited about a new restaurant. Some of these people may even work in restaurants. These are the types of people who give a thumbs up to a terrible place like this -- they review based solely on reputation, or because they don't have much experience with different types of food. Please avoid this place -- we should demand more for our money! In a city as diverse as Vancouver, there is no excuse for boring, overpriced fare. We have a reputation for fabulous food -- it's about time we live up to it!"
