Not Your GN'R of Old, December 1, 2008
By FatalFurr

"This is definitely not to be compared with the GN'R you grew up on. This is an entirely different era of music from a band that has been torn apart and rebuilt. Axl Rose and Dizzy Reed being the only remaining members from the UYI lineup, it can only be expected to be a different album. That being said if you listen to this album expecting something new, you can't help but enjoy some of the songs. Personal favorites on this album for myself were 'Better,' 'There Was a Time,' 'Sorry' and 'IRS.' One thing I enjoyed with this album was that there was a variety, that is, it wasn't the same track over and over. This is one thing that is definitely familiar territory for any GN'R fan. Axl didn't give us familiarity. All and all I enjoyed this record. I will be dissapointed if I have to wait another 15 years for more material."
