Expensive and Disappointing, April 14, 2009

"I was also drawn in by the idea of finding a match site for Seniors and was very disappointed with the results. I think it's as expensive as the much better Match.Com, which I have used in the past. Being older now, I thought this would be better. I was very wrong. My so-called matches didn't match my interests at all. The majority of them did not have pictures which means they all got in for free and expected me to contact them through my paid membership. I received inappropriate emails! I've also seen the crude profiles and inappropriate photos. And I can't believe the addition of couples-seeking-couples. As the other reviewer said, it's for "swingers" and "wife/Husband swappers." What's really galling is the primary review here about the site. If you pay close attention to the wording, it's mostly quotes from the business itself, so it's just a paid AD, masquerading as a legitimate reivew. The person writing this obviously did not have a paid membership or do any homework. I did, very much to my regret.

Just go elsewhere. A 62 year old friend recently joined Match.com and is having fun emailing people, young and old! I'm not endorsing any site. Just giving seniors a warning about Senior Friend Finder. This is based on my own recent personal experience."
