"I run a lot, logging miles for both training and competing. I've had a few close calls with automobiles so I understand the importance of carrying a visible identification. One of our club members had this road shoe ID tag so I gave it a try. It's too big and contrary to what's claim, it was disruptive as the 3inch tag hung way over the shoe laces onto the toe of the shoe. Talk about annoying!
We found a new company that has a better, smaller more visible shoe ID. It velcro system also fits more tightly around the shoe laces for a secure fit. Most impressive is the laser engraved stainless steel tag is super light weight. I didn't even know it's there yet have the confidence if needed, it will be seen by the first aide providers.
This yikes ID Shoe tag was so great our entire club bought them with several of our members throwing away their old road tags in favor of yikes. Best of all, the yikes tag was a lot cheaper but worth every cent.
