"I bought this phone about 2 weeks ago, I found that it has a huge learning curve. When I was doing some research on the Blackberry Storm I realized that I would have to deal with this. And overall I have found the blackberry storm to meet my expectations. Keep in mind that I have bought the phone a little later so RIM has worked out most of the bugs.
Copy and paste have been one of the most useful features i have found in a phone! I have saved countless hours working away from home with this feature. The blackberry's Email system is excellent! I can email with ease to respond to both personal and business messages. PDF Reader, word, powerpoint, and excell spreadsheet support is a big plus! Internet browser has treated me excellent, and I really don't worry about the lack of wi fi support because Verizon's network is the best down where I live. My only gripe with this phone is that there is no Flash support that I have been able to find... Being a web designer and having the ability to show your portfolio of work from your phone has been a huge boost in business. Call quality hasn't really disappointed me, I think it is excellent, I have a constant problem of muting calls on accident with my face, but a bluetooth should fix that problem. and on the note of bluetooth I see the feature of sending and receiving files via bluetooth but i'm not sure how that works. Music and media players on this phone are excellent, I have officially replaced my ipod with this phone, but keep in mind the phone only comes with an onboard memory of 1 gig and a 8 gig media card ( you can upgrade to 16 ). Music player could use some minor touches, but It is excellent overall. Video player is one of the best I've seen so far compared to my friends samsung. Camera is one of the best I've witnessed in a phone, auto focus and flash is awesome! I have taken some awesome pictures and RECORDED some awesome videos. Video recording is perfect if you want to post it on the web for youtube or facebook. Text messaging is awesome, especially with the glow on the keyboard that lets you know which button your going to press. Also the reason why i think this is the best touchscreen phone is because the screen is basically one big button, so it emulates the effect of pressing a button with out pressing one, You will just have to see for yourself. Applications have changed... Verizon rhapsody music service is now compatible with the storm, yes it is and it is the best music service i have ever had! RIM has invested some more time in the blackberry applications, so there is basically a application for everything that you need now. the software that comes with the phone to put on your computer is a bit buggy, but that is because Roxio is a horrible program overall, besides that you can sync your itunes library onto your phone, back up your numbers pictures applications text messages and everything on your phone via the blackberry manager. I also hear about the phone freezing up randomly, I have only witnessed it once after I installed a pretty big application, so I really don't know what everyone is talking about.
Overall the blackberry Storm Smartphone is an excellent phone to use if you have the time to invest into learning how the phone works. My storm has been officially adapted to my needs and it really helps me out with my web design business. I do not recommend this phone for someone who is computer ignorant, they will just get frustrated with the phone. This phone should be given a second review because a lot of things that effected it in it's early launch was fixed as of the present."
