Midwest Bay Isle Litter Cover, November 16, 2008
By muffaletta

"There are NO litterbox covers that are not harmful to the kitties. The boxes being enclosed keep all dust inside that normally rises up out of the box, where it is breathed by the cats as they scratch and paw around. Breathing any type of dust from a litter box harms the cats' lungs and eventually might cause asthma, COPD or chronic respiratory problems - putting the cats in danger of eventual disability and/or death. These are particularly dangerous in dry climates because there's no moisture in the air to keep some of the dust down. And there's no such thing as dustless litter!! Believe me - I've tried them ALL."
