"Bought grill at Home Depot 5 years ago. They no longer carry the grill or parts for it. Vermont Castings has been bought out by another company. I needed new searing grills so I checked out their website and called the dealers in my area. They proceeded to tell me that they didn't sell parts for my cheap grill (it cost $400++ I'd hate to know what their expensive grills cost) and wouldn't order parts for me. I finally got in touch with the new company owner via e-mail and was told that they don't sell parts to the public but gave me two 1-800 numbers to call where I could order my parts. I called both of them and was told once again that they don't handle parts for the cheap grills and that I would have to go to Home Depot to buy what I needed. Apparently the new owners know nothing about the products that they represent or the companies that represent them. I am now making arrangements for this grill to be brought to the either the recyclers or the dump and just wanted to warn everyone.....DO NOT PURCHASE VERMONT CASTINGS GRILLS THIER CUSTOMER SERVICE IS LESS THAN ~0~ AND THEY WILL NOT HONOR THEIR WARRANTY. The grill is great as long as you don't need to make repairs."
