Love the AirTrain,

"The AirTrain is such a great way to get to the airport - a 25 minute ride on the LIRR from Penn, a 10 minute ride on the AirTrain, and you're at your terminal. It makes for a quick trip and a reliable one - you can go by a schedule rather than risking traffic. Best of all, it's about $40 cheaper than taking a cab."
