Great Dolls, Great Store, Online is Terrible, December 16, 2008

"My 7 year old is a huge fan of american girl. We visit the manhattan store quite often. It's always a great time. However the online customer service leaves me with dissatifaction and disgust. I had order my daughter holiday gift early to ensure in stock products. I had waited some time until I noticed my order have never came. I imediately called and I was given the run around. Finally a week before x-mas. I was offered a re-order with rush shipping at their expense if the order wasn't shipped in the next few days. I called back the following day and to my dismay, The product was then out of stock and my original order was called "lost in translation". They assured me that I would receive it by 03/5/2009. But as a parents, we all know santa doesn't do back orders. I'm still waiting on the results. After 4 calls within hour. I WILL NEVER ORDER ONLINE OR OVER THE PHONE AGAIN. The only business American Girl will receive from me is in store. So buyers beware. This isn't the first and I'm sure its not the last."
