Johnny Winter Anthology, June 24, 2009

"I have had this CD for quite a while now. I have been a admirer of Johnny Winter since Moby Dick was a minnow.

This CD set is gargantuan!!! There are so many great cuts on this set. "High way 61 Revisited" is unbelievable. Bob Dylan never expected this one, I'm sure. I saw Johnny in a small venue in Modesto, California and he was tremendous.

In my estimation there is not a better Blues-Rock guitarist, dead or alive, than Johnny Winter.

If you do not have "Johnny Winter Anthology", drop whatever you are doing, whatever you are doing, and go get it.

While your there also pick up "Breakin' Up, Breakin It Down" with Muddy and James Cotton and "Deluxe Edition"

Thanks for the music, Johnny."
