"I use InDesign and Pageplus. Pageplus, in my findings, handles tables better than InDesign. For example I just completed a book of 250 pages and Pageplus did the tables and I imported them into InDesign - this table intensive book was needed for one of the biggest cities in North America and this made my job quicker and ended in a great product.
