Don't waste your money!, February 7, 2009

"This grill is a piece of overpriced scrap metal! I purchased in May 07, and paid $1000. I had some issue with the Tec burners flaring out the end of the season.

By the next season, Lowes wouldn't support the grill, so I contacted Charbroil about the worsening problems with the Tec burners. They had actually melted all the screws off the burners and cracked my ignition assemblies. Charbroil said the burners were on recall, but wouldn't pay to fix the other broken parts. After complaining, they agreed to send out all the parts. But I had to redrill the screw holes, reassemble the burners and pilot ignitors myself...pain in the%@*&.

That was August 08...by September 08 it was doing the same thing again!!! Severly overheating, burners blowing out, screws melting, pilot ignitors cracked. Called Charbroil again in September, said they would send out ANOTHER set of burners, and as of the beginning of February, haven't received ANYTHING!!! I'm filing a consumer fraud claim against them, as well as a lawsuit.

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEYON THIS GRILL OR THIS TECHNOLOGY! It has not been perfected, and the grill is downright DANGEROUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
