Capable enough host, until asked to decide,

"I have been using 1&1 for some years and they have so far provided a good enough automated service.
They have however recently fallen from favour as they seem unable to come to any decision regarding any question of any non-standard set ups without passing the buck internally back & forth and wasting weeks of my time only after assuring me that my request would be met to suddenly realise that there did not seem to be a form that they could shoehorn my request into and thus have to abandon a very high profile public service site."
