Disapointment,

"Seven of us took afternoon tea on 31/12/2008. I had read the Tea Concil review. Booked the table in October @ £41.00 per person for Champagne Tea. When we arrived we were in a smaller room and the price had increased to £45.00 per person. The service at first was fine then we were forgotten, we had to ask for everything more than once. As for extra offers of more food there were none. When it came to paying the bill which my husband had to ask for three times, they had added £35.00 service charge which I refused to pay, as I felt that we had had no service. Would we go back to this elegant deluxe 5 star hotel, NO. We shall go back to the Ritz."
