This Thing Works GREAT!,

"Very effective for deer, raccoons, cats, rabbits, squirrels, and when I am on the lawn mower.
Ineffective on my 2 black labs, they enjoy getting cooled down by it.
Works good if you elevate it by strapping it to a pole, or stake, when the plants get tall they block the sensor, so having it elevated a few feet above them is beneficial. It has a good range on it. It is a little pricey but worth every penny you spend. I am extremely satisfied with the first one I bought, and have since bought 2 more for “TOTAL COVERAGE”. They can be linked together in a chain so you can spread them out, and cover all corners of your garden. Don’t hesitate to buy one of these things, take my word for it, they work GREAT!"
