"I found the album very different from the ACDC I was expecting. The songs were mostly the same tempo as others but to my surprise I found a SLIDE guitar track Stormy May Day(highly abnormal for Angus Young)It is very good.It seemed as if Angus was interweaving the blues and hard rock together in that track and I loved it.Although the slide work was not that impressive I could dig it because slide is something that is not played nearly enough in todays new music.I found the album quite distant from the others. Some songs are quite intresting.Like Black Ice.To me, it is a statement about how not to live. The term Black Ice is ice that you cannot see.I have gathered that the song is about trouble lurking about that you can't see.Very intresting and well written.I really can't say that about some of the other tracks.Rock N Roll Train is a well done track that offers more of what everyone expects of ACDC.A modern tempoed, foot pounding steering wheel slaping kinda of song.It is one of the best (if not the best)tracks on the album. There are good tracks on this album.Big Jack is probably the follow up single talking about a big guy named none other than JACK!He is everywhere, and always getting to trouble and looking for action anywhere he can find it.Good song too. Spoilin for a fight no doubt has single potential also.Great song with that steady beat that pumps you up and gets you ready to kick *ss.Rather short though(only 3:15)I could have listened to that half of the day.All in all its a good package...take some, dicth some..Some out of the norm, but some surprises as well. Not dissapointing but not what I was expecting.I like Stiff Upper Lip better for a long awaited release."
