DO NOT PURCHASE THIS VACUUM -- TOTAL JUNK,

"Definitely do not purchase this vacuum. This is my third one in two years (I returned the first two after they broke down about 1 or 2 weeks into usage). The third one made it for another 9 months before falling apart.
My usage:
- I live in a 900 square foot apartment with approximately 600 square feet of carpeting. I own two persian cats (so yes they do shed). I am single ... so no kids to clean up after. I sweep once a week -- usually on Saturdays ... takes about 30 minutes to do the living room and the bedroom. Bathroom and Kitchen have tile floors ... so just use a mop to clean.
My complaints:
- The belts need changed after 2 hours of usage (about once every month).
- The sweeper contantly gets jammed up. Takes about 10 minutes to take apart and unjam.
- The plastic around the rotor brushes is very thin .. I guess so you can see through it or something (who knows). Anyhow, this started disintegrating about 6 months into ownership.
-Today the whole thing finally disintegrated, causing the rotor brush to jam and thus buring out the motor.
- To the good folks at Hoover. You just lost a customer. Never again will I purchase another of your products. I feel sorry for the small town dealers that rely on your products to earn a living. But I guess you sell junk in the name of corporate profits.
- Anyhow, I do not recommend this product to anyone. Period!
