Takes forever to measure a yard,

"I love the idea of measuring my sunlight, but found it very time consuming to get a read on different areas with SunCalc. By the time I moved it around to all the places I wanted to measure, my planting was already finished.
Does anyone know of a similar product that might be less expensive?"
