"Technical Writer is an emerging career. With rise in the number of Software Company made an increase in demand for Technical Writer. Technical Writer shapes an important role in developing the software project. The responsibility of a Technical writer is to understand the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and give them to proper writing format. Tech-Writer prepares documentation in the form of User Manual, Installation Guides, Online help and release notes at the end of project. To be choose your career as technical writer, Communication and writing skill should be excellent, besides this, you should be technical sound enough to understand the requirement of project. Now a day, the writer must have the working knowledge of different software tools used to prepare the Software-document. The Recent tools for Technical Writer have seen in Software Company is Robo Help, MS-Office, and Snag IT etc. Each tool is extraordinary in its work. Amongst all of these, Robo Help has a demand. Company expects that Technical Writer should have prior working knowledge on Robo Tools.
Though, the Recession has cut down the job market, but somehow, Candidates can choice their career as Technical Writer with the specified skills. Fresher in this field can expect salary of 10k -15 k. However, Technical Writer who has already more than 2 years in this field can get 25 k and go more than this depending on the respective skills.
