Satisfied but not perfect,

"My wife, son, and I all have this phone. My wife has had it the longest - about a year and has had no problems. No pieces falling off, no buttons cracking or becoming inoperable. Her only complaint is that occasionally it does not lock itself when she slides it shut so she sometimes butt dials/pocket dials.
My son got his about eight months ago. He is a college student so it gets used and abused and he did have some button covers popping out of the faceplate frame after about six months (but they still worked). AT&T replaced it under warranty and he has not mentioned any problems (although he does gripe that he gets no reception in his dorm but that has been true of every phone he has had and for most of his fellow students).
I've had mine about six months and have no complaints other than the occasionally not locking thing. The camera is not very good, but I don't really have any great interest in taking pictures with it, other than to get a picture of some product at the store I want to check out online. If I want to take photos of family, events, vacations, I use a non-phone camera (I have a Nikon, an Olympus, and, my favorite, a Canon). I love the MP3 player - I have a 4 GB card in and have packed on a bunch of music albums and songs. I'm not crazy about the proprietary headset connector but SE is not the only manufacturer to pull this sort of thing.
Unfortunately, last week, I had it in my jacket chest pocket (a waterproof, breathable but . . . ) while out on a bike ride and it was raining the entire time - the phone got wet and has been dead since, which was my fault and nothing wrong with the phone. So I have a new one on the way and learned a $150 lesson about zip-loc bags being your cell phone's best friend.
So, two out of three have had no fit and finish problems and the one that did probably did not get much TLC."
