"I'm curious and wanted to give one of the "Big Three" a fair shake as they try something new.
Me and my ex used to make our own ales. It's one of the few fond memories I have of her.
Anyway the ale was on sale for $6.49, a bit pricey for a Bud but it does have the above 5% alcohol content that I like. It's bland - a hint of a "beer" aftertaste in the back of the throat I think in there for the "classic Bud" lovers (vs. an ESB, Porter, IPA etc. taste)
If I'm at a party I can't bring myself to drink Bud classic - even from a tap. Rather drink water. But if this stuff was covered in ice I'd grab it over a can of Sprite that was sitting next to it - but certainly not over a Sierra Nevada."
