"I started reading this book and could not put it down. It was so engaging that it impressed me especially for its simplistic way the author penned concepts which such DEPTH and POWER. To have God portrayed in the way this books does is AWSOME!!!. First the motherly African American, then the inquisitive Latin and then the fatherly, masculine companion. Since god is the Creator of EVERYTHING and EVERYTHING is in HIM/HER this approach to the supreme deity touched me very deep within my soul.
Even though I grew up in a very conservative catholic environment, I found the approach to Jesus a little, or maybe a lot “Biased”. I am not using the term in a pejorative way, but I loved the idea of Papa the almighty force and Sarayou the “spirit” behind creation. Then, to have Jesus “playing Jesus” broke the neutrality and powerful essence of the message, and for a while I felt like I was listening to those fanatics that knock at my door trying to force their “reality” down my throat. But I was able to overcome those feelings and continued reading, enjoying it and crying more than once. Oh yes, the message was delivered straight into the center of my soul. I understand that the writer and those who assisted him are Christians, but the Truth and deep concepts expressed lost power with this pushing of Jesus. I am buying my own (Since the one I read was borrowed from a friend) and two of my other friends are getting it for Christmas."
