TRIA LASER,

"I am giving this a 5 star rating. First a little about me. I am middle eastern, olive skin, black hair. I have been treated with lasers for the last 6 years different parts of my body. (my first experience was at Kaiser Permenante- it cost a fortune) I am pretty much hair free with my facial hair & armpits. But I never quite accumulated enough money for my legs and bikini line. Over the years I have used the IPL and the diode lasers.
With that said, I think this laser is absolutely awesome! I have the new version so I cant' vouch for the original tria. Although the hair doesn't immediately fall out, I can tell, from past experience, that it has adversely been effected by the laser..and its only a matter of time. Also, for me the lowest setting is good enough for areas such as the bikini line. It hurts, even though I shaved and there isn't any visible hair. THis is probably due to the fact I have thick black hair. I have had the same problem in salons, so I had to purchase numbing cream, and sometimes icepacks, regardless if the laser.
Also, I don't recommend IPL lasers. I had this treatment done in the past using an IPL and I personally had issues with ingrown hairs. Maybe it was just me....something to think about.
Lastly I did my research online. You can never tell on the internet about the legitimacy of the review. Also one should really consider the technology, its effects...long term and short term, since this does effect your body. I waited for quite sometime before I took the plunge.
I can only say that for me I've been there, spent $$ at salons, and this is pretty effective for the cost. But don't take my word for it. Do the research:)"
