Forgiveness,

"For me, this novella makes a very good point. No matter how you live your life and what regrets you may collect along the journey, you must be able to forgive yourself . I believe this is the most important part of the story. When Charley asks his mother what did his father's wife say and his mother answered she said to forgive. He asked her if the woman wanted him to forgive her and she told him the woman wanted him to forgive himself. How true these words are. We are only human and we will definitely make mistakes BUT we mus be able to forgive ourselves."
