BEDBUGS, September 6, 2009

"At 7AM this morning I discovered BEDBUGS in this hotel and from there a nightmare began I was treated like I was wrong for reporting the problem.

We arrived to closed amenities due to rain and stayed in room. As a Floridian, I know how summer is and it was ok.
This morning, I was just about to talk to my husband about staying another night, when I looked down and saw the bug on the sheet. ( at 7AM).
After 4 hours and numerous calls to the front desk the staff did NOTHING!!! other than hold me hostage in the room waiting for a response.
Finally 4 hours after checking out,,, they called back ( just before I removed the infested luggage from the infested car) and told me the room tested positive for bedbugs!!!

I called back to speak with the manager , as it was a holiday weekend and I was unable to reach pest control or dry cleaners that are open........ The manager on duty immediately placed me on hold and transferred me back to Kevin in security who says " he doesn't know what I should do"

I have spent my entire pre operative ( supposed to be relaxing) weekend ---- miserable.
The entire evening tonight was spent in a laundry mat and car wash.
I threw away the luggage that was a gift for my recent birthday and now and now cant sleep because of the itching of bites all over my body and trauma endured by this experience.
