Expensive, Limiting, and Not Very Effective,

"I joined eHarmony for one of their cheaper intro packages a few years ago. Like any other dating site, you don't really know what you're dealing with until you pay the money. I immediately realized I had to answer a zillion questions about my personality before I could get into the match part. About 2 days after the questions were all answered, I received "matches," based on my personality profile. Oh Good Grief! I got men who were very outwardly looking for only a sex parner!! I then learned that I could not search for myself, as allowed on all other sites. eHarmony plays matchmaker and does not allow us to go on our own. Pretty dictatorial and limiting. The site does NOT ask questions about physical and sex issues. I emailed them and let them know that it's very important for men and women to know what the other person is looking for in terms of pysical appearance and sex. From what I read on these reviews, Obviously that hasn't changed. When I worked I took those personality profile tests, including the one on eHarmony. They all placed us in personality categories and (like the Zodiac), told us how we would click with different personality groups. It was really Bogus! and This is what eHarmony is based on! Oh well, like my review on Senior Friend Finder (don't walk....RUN away from them), you really should do your own research before doling out your hard-earned money on these sites. eHarmony is one of the more expensive ones. Luckily, at the time I joined at Intro rates, I only paid $15. I never renewed."
